POST 1- Why is our education system wrong?

Ever wondered that our Education System is completely wrong? That this system gives the gift of stress and pain? Well I agree with you! Let me show you how the system is wrong

WHY IS OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM WRONG?

Here are some facts:

• Knowledge is something that is meant to establish peace and harmony in the minds of the pupils. Is this happening? NO. About 2,471 students being pressurized by the education system ended their life, considering death as a better option than receiving education.
• In ancient India, it was considered the responsibility of the knowledgeable ones to teach others. They never expected any salary and this selflessness of theirs helped produce the perfect student. Is this happening today? NO. The education system has become a business. Many reputed organizations demand even 5 lakhs for education. Then how can the system be correct? A selfish teacher gives rise to selfish students!
• Examinations were meant to just test what the student had learnt throughout the year. If the teacher found that his student is weak, he would sit with the student and help him. In today’s world, examinations are the very basis of studies.
• Theoretically, there is no way with which the intelligence of a person can be measured. How then can we consider marks as our intelligence and the basis of life?
• To sum up- The knowledge and education obtained these days is like a train ticket. Teachers can be compared to the ticket office who gives you some ‘knowledge’, exams are like ticket collectors, and your destination is- ‘A Job and Money’!!!
